 Prosciutto Sandwich Ideal With Rose’ Wines

Adapted with permission from A GUIDE TO THE WORLD’S MOST  VERSATILE  WINE by Jeff Morgan(Chronicle Books, 2007)

 

  • 2 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto (about 4 slices)
  • 1/2 to 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 fresh Baguette (6 to 10 inches long)

 Cut the Baguette in half lengthwise and spread the butter evenly across one of the bread halves. Loosely drape the prosciutto slices over butter. Seal with the top half of baguette.
